MathuraMathura, one of the Vaishnava pilgrimages in India is located in the western part of the Uttar Pradesh. The town is situated on the west bank of the river Yamuna at a distance of 54 km from Agra and 145 km from Delhi.
Vrindavan
Vrindavan is situated 10 km to the north of Mathura on the banks of the river Yamuna. It a chief place of pilgrimage for the Vaishnavas and replete with the memories associated with Lord Shri Krishna. Vrindavan boasts of more than 4,000 temples - both modern and old, dedicated to Shri Krishna.
Rishikesh
Rishikesh - the gateway to heaven, is located in Tehri Garhwal region of Uttaranchal at an altitude of 356 m above sea level. The pilgrimage town has many temples that dot the banks of the holy river Ganga. Rishikesh, the abode of saints and hermits is also famous as the Yoga Capital of the world.
