Lodi Gardens
Lodi Gardens, formerly known as Lady Wilington Park is situated on the Lodi Road. Its beautifully landscaped and well laid out gardens attract people of all ages. Other interesting features of the gardens are small water bodies, picturesque fountains and a jogging track. The gardens also house the National Bonsai Park which has a good selection of bonsais.

The main attractions of the Lodi Gardens are the monuments belonging to the Sayyid and Lodi periods. The garden is home to numerous species of trees, a rose garden and a green house. The Lodi Gardens look very beautiful during the months of February and March., when flowers are in full bloom. Several species of birds can be seen in this garden.
Nehru Park
Nehru Park is located on the main Panchsheel Road. This park is close to the Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave and the Santushti Shopping Complex. The park covers an area of around 80 acres and has beautiful floral collections, picturesque little mounds and rocks inscribed with the saying of Jawahar Lal Nehru. The pleasant and peaceful ambiance of the park attracts picnickers as well as fitness enthusiasts. The main attraction of the Park is the 'Morning Ragas' - the musical concerts and art events, which are held every Sunday morning. A swimming pool and a snack bar is also located inside the park.
The Garden of Five Senses
Situated in Said-Ul-Azaib village close to Saket, The Garden of Five Senses is a beautiful park developed by Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation. Inaugurated in 2003, the garden is designed to stimulate our five senses with its beauty and provide a chance to touch, smell, hear and see our natural surroundings. One can relax and enjoy the park's amenities far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The garden serves as the venue of several festivals such as the Garden tourism festival, food festivals, Dandiya festivals etc. Major attractions of the park are the Khas Bagh, Neel Bagh, the Courts of Specimen Plants and the Solar Energy Park.
Mahatama Gandhi Park
Located in Old Delhi, Mahatama Gandhi Park is a small park having historical importance. Developed during the British period, the park was named as 'Queen's Park'. It was an integral part of European social life in the early 19th century. After India's independence the park was renamed as Mahatama Gandhi Park. This peaceful park has many shady trees and is a good place to rest after a hectic schedule.
Netaji Subhash Park
Netaji Subhash Park is situated in Old Delhi on the Netaji Subhash Marg. The prime attraction of this park is the imposing statue of Subhash Chandra Bose.
Deer Park
Situated close to Hauz Khas Village, the Deer Park is an ornithologist's delight. Buddha Jayanti Smarak Park
The Buddha Jayanti Smarak Park is located opposite Assam House on the Sardar Patel Marg. This park was founded to commemorate the 2500th anniversary of Lord Gautam Buddha's attainment of Nirvana. Sprawling with lush green lawns, streams, slopping terrain and mammoth trees, the park is full of colourful flowers.
Mughal Gardens
Mughal Garden is located in the Rashtrapati Bhawan complex. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the gardens combine the Mughal Style with the British garden designs. The gardens spread over an area of six hectares have multi-level terraces, flowering shrubs, lawns and hedges.
National Zoological Park
National Zoological Park or Delhi Zoo is situated close to Old Fort or Purana Qila. The zoo sprawls over 214 acres and houses animal and bird species brought from different parts of India and all the continents such as Africa, America, Australia and Asia. National Zoological Park is an idyllic picnic spot and provides a delightful respite from the humdrum of the capital city.
